The other night there was a swatch of large, severe thunderstorms that passed through the area. Fortunately, or unfortunately if you are a storm lover, they skirted around our neighborhood but left something amazing behind. As the rain passed and the sky opened up to the west just as the sun was setting the area was given quite a show. The elusive double rainbow, end to end in a full complete bow. It stay visible in its full glory for almost 15 minutes before it faded. I was able to get some great photos of it.
Once it faded the sun dipped below the horizon and the sky turned a fire-red then to a bright pink.
End of line.
