Everyday 30 Day Exercise Challenge – Day 14
1 min readThis morning I was pull out of sleep by overnight thunderstorms. One round at 2am the bigger round at 4am which brought a little person into the bed. Broken sleep at best. Since I started sluggish I was decided to dive into my exercise sets first thing and blast through it. Get the blood pumping and adrenaline flowing to get my engine going for the day. It worked. I plan to take ride later today so I took a rest day on the 10 min. treadmill warmup, stretched and started out with the sets. I didn’t rest more than one minutes between the whole session and broke up the burpees to 5 sets of 10 on the minute (meaning no matter how long I took to do 10, I started on the next set at the top of the minute). That approach was from my old swimming days, the faster you do a run the more time you have to rest, as you slow down the rests get shorter.
Burpees still suck.
